Where to fix badminton racket in Honolulu?

Actually it is quiet difficult to find a store that has complete collection for badminton stuff in Hawaii. Even in a big store like Sport Authority, it does not really has a good badminton stuff. In term of racket uses sports, most of the sport stores have a complete stuff for tennis and squash but not for badminton. It is understandable since badminton is not a popular sport in Hawaii, although the University of Hawaii Manoa has 6 badminton court and plenty of Asian especially the student fond of playing badminton.

It happen to me when I struggled finding a badminton service center to restring my badminton racket. I went to Sport Authority and they suggested me to go to McCully bicycle and sport goods. I went there but a guy there said that I had to go to Waipahu Racket. So I ended up in Waipahu Racket and being able to restring my racket there.

It is difficult actually to find this store. There is no sign board and located in a second floor, completely hard to find. The store has a relatively complete collection of racket uses sports and their accessories. It also offers various darts, sport clothes and restring service.

Here is the address: Waipahu Racquet Shop, 1831 S King St Ste 201, Honolulu, HI 96826, phone 8089414911. On the right side of the street (remember it is one way street), you will see a big signboard with blue letters written 1831 Blue Ribbon Bar and Grill. It is in the second floor of the building. Notice that the shop does not have its own banner. It is about 300 meters before Long Drugs or McCully Bicycle. You can walk actually from Long Drugs only takes 5 minutes. Good Luck!
